Looking for an indoor destination with kids as the weather suddenly turns chilly?
Let us introduce the Gyeonggi Regional Unification Plus Center, a great place to visit with your family and learn about the peace and unification of Korea.
Opened in late September, this new complex offers a friendly and accessible way for people of all ages to learn about peace and unification.
With a variety of visually engaging, hands-on exhibits, visitors can enjoy an informative and entertaining experience. ☺️
The highlight of the center is the Peace and Unification Experience Hall on the 2nd floor.
Here, you can explore thought-provoking questions about unification and take time to reflect on its meaning.
The hall also features interactive touch screens and child-friendly content, making it a great learning space for kids.
Inside, there’s a quiz zone where you can naturally learn about the differences between South Korea’s standard language and that used by North Korea.
By comparing words used differently in the two regions, visitors can have fun while discovering the linguistic diversity of the Korean Peninsula.
There’s also a photo zone where you can take four-cut photos with backgrounds of a unified Korea.
Get personalized travel course recommendations based on your preferences and capture a memorable moment among North and South Korean landscapes. ✨
Other sections of the center introduce the economic benefits of unification—focusing on logistics and resource cooperation—and provide insights into Gyeonggi Province’s vision for the future of a unified Korea.
At the Gyeonggi Regional Unification Plus Center, you can deepen your understanding of unification in an approachable way and imagine the bright future of the Korean Peninsula together.
