Today, let’s explore Anyang Art Park in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, a unique outdoor cultural space where nature and contemporary art come together.

Along the well-kept valleys and forest trails, you’ll find sculptures and art installations scattered throughout, turning the walking paths into an open-air museum. 

As you stroll through the park, striking artworks reveal themselves one by one, offering a welcoming way to experience contemporary art outside of a gallery setting.

Right next to the park is Anyang Pavilion, a remarkable space designed by world-renowned architect Alvaro Siza. Serving as both a library and an architectural work of art, the pavilion brings together books, art, and design in one creative setting.

Inside the striking building, shelves filled with books transform the act of reading into an artistic experience of its own. Here, reading feels less like an everyday activity and more like engaging with art.
