1. Museum of Modern History of Korea

You can see the past of Korea from the entrance of the Museum of Modern History of Korea. It is Korea's first modern and contemporary history museum, and each floor displays an entire village from different periods in history. The museum is a three-story building with one basement floor.

How to Get There

1. By Vehicle

If you're using a personal vehicle, search for “Paju Heyri Art Village” in your navigation system or enter the address: 70-21 Heyrimaeul-gil, Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Where to Park

You can park for free in the spacious parking lot across from the Museum of Modern History of Korea.
You don’t need to immediately park in the first open space you see at the entrance of the village just. There are many open spaces throughout the village, so simply park in the spot closest to where you want to go.

2. By Bus

Since it is not directly connected by subway, the best way to visit Heyri Art Village by public transportation is by bus. Unfortunately, there are few related bus routes and the village bus only runs every 1-2 hours, so it’s relatively inconvenient to take those buses!

If you take the express bus #2200 (Gyeonggi public bus) from Hongik University Station Exit 1 (in front of the Korea Development Bank) or Hapjeong Station Exit 1, it will take about 45 minutes to get to Heyri Art Village.
