There are plenty of small or big alley in South Korea that is worth visiting. Here is what Gyeonggi Province recommends.
Gyeonggi’s Theme Alleys
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization have selected seven Theme Alleys and started operating new tours and experiential programs around these alleys.One of the alleys is the site of Byeokjegwan, a well-known guesthouse dating from the Joseon Dynasty that is located in Goyang City. Byeokjegwan connected China and Korea, serving as a place where envoys of the Ming Dynasty would stay before starting their diplomatic schedules. A history tour guided by a resident commentator is available.
In Gimpo City, visitors can see Tongjin Hyanggyo, a local Confucian school dating from the Goryeo Dynasty, on Manse-ro-gunha-gil road. This Confucian school has been designated as a cultural property with its history of protecting the entrance to the Han River during the Joseon Dynasty. Detailed stories can be heard through an associated history program.
Yangpyeong County's Millennium Theme Alley is a unique location as it is features specialized food and murals incorporating local agricultural and specialty products. Visitors can see yellow-themed murals and photo zones that are reminiscent of the ginkgo trees at Yongmunsa Temple.

Siheung Oido Island’s Ocean Alley
Siheung Oido Island's Ocean Alley features symbolic seashells and a red lighthouse. Oido itself has gained renown as a venue for classical concerts, tourism programs, experiential courses, and art performances that were staged during the last Gyeonggi Ocean Travel Week.

Recently, Oido Island has developed a travel kit for solo travelers and small groups that can be purchased on site from a vending machine on the first floor of Oido Red Lighthouse. The kit consists of DIY materials and a camera so that visitors can better experience the environment of Oido Island.

Such kits can be assembled at home, but there is a separate experiential zone in the lighthouse. The first floor of the lighthouse features various exhibitions with instructors who assist those with the travel kit. Due to COVID-19, the number of on-site participants is currently limited to a maximum of five and reservations are required.
The camera from the kit can be used for missions at Ocean Alley locations that include the Oido Red Lighthouse, Oido Port Dock, Oido Tree of Life Observatory, Traditional Fish Market, and Hamsang Observatory.
