Located in Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province, the HANGANG MUSEUM is a unique cultural space where visitors can enjoy both exhibitions and a café with stunning river views. It’s a place where kids and adults alike can appreciate art in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Just about a 5-minute drive from Paldang Station (Gyeongui–Jungang Line), the museum stands out with its four-story building and convenient on-site parking.

As you enter, you’ll find the ticket booth, where admission includes not only access to the exhibitions but also a drink from the café, ideal for enjoying while watching the breathtaking sunset over the Hangang River (Han River).

The first floor houses a small but inspiring art gallery. Currently, the 14th special exhibition, <Nice to Meet You> is on view through August 31, 2025. 

This exhibition explores the emotions that emerge through human encounters in modern society—sorrow, comfort, desire, and joy—featuring works by 5 of Korean artists.

On the second floor, you’ll find a café overlooking the Hangang River. Admission includes one complimentary beverage, making it a great spot to relax after exploring the exhibit.

The third floor offers clean and modern seminar and education rooms available for rental, making it a versatile space for workshops and small gatherings.

Head up to the rooftop for a panoramic view of the Hangang River. It’s the ideal place to enjoy the open air and scenery.

The Hangang Museum is also designed with accessibility in mind, featuring an elevator and restrooms for visitors with disabilities, as well as convenient facilities for seniors and families with strollers. 🙌
