Did you know there's an art museum nestled within a park in Gyeonggi Province? Let’s discover what makes this place so special!
Located in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, Anyang Art Park is South Korea’s first public art theme park, featuring over 60 contemporary art installations scattered throughout its landscape.
Originally known as Anyang Amusement Park, it transformed into the Anyang Art Park we know today following renovations initiated by the Anyang Public Art Project (APAP) in 2005.
This park is a fantastic destination for art and culture enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of sculptures on display. As you explore, you might just lose track of time while immersing yourself in world-renowned contemporary artworks 😃
Additionally, the park offers a fun stamp tour. You can pick up a stamp tour pamphlet at the Anyang Museum, Anyang Pavilion, or the Kim Chung-up Architecture Museum.
Visiting key spots within the park and collecting stamps can be quite enjoyable! Collecting seven stamps earns you a magnet, and completing all 11 stamps rewards you with a handkerchief. Once you've completed the stamp tour, you can claim your souvenir at the Anyang Art Park Tourist Information Center.
