Let us introduce you to a place where you can experience a variety of disaster scenarios firsthand and receive practical safety training: the GYEONGGI-DO Safety Experience Center in Osan City, Gyeonggi Province.

Opened in 2022, this center is South Korea’s largest safety experience facility. It's a unique space where visitors can experience various disaster situations and receive real-life safety education. 😊

The center offers various themed experience zones such as the Children's Safety Story Village, Safety Experience Hall, First-Aid Experience Hall, and 4D Movie Theater, all designed to provide both fun and educational experiences. Moreover, active firefighters lead the training, so you’ll gain professional and practical safety knowledge.

Children’s Safety Story Village

This zone is designed for children aged 9 and under, offering tailored safety education in a fun and engaging way. Here, kids can naturally learn essential safety rules while having a great time! 😊 It’s designed to match the kids’ level and includes interactive activities that make learning safety fun and effective.



📌 Age Range: 5-9 years old

📌 Experience Duration: 60 minutes

📌 Main Experiences:

✔ Home Safety – Earthquake preparedness, smoke evacuation, and preventing household accidents

✔ Traffic Safety – Pedestrian safety, car/bus safety education

✔ Outdoor Safety – Playground safety, responding to storms, child crime prevention

✔ Become a Fire-fighter Experience – Fire suppression and firefighter activities

Safety Experience Hall

This hall is for visitors aged 10 and up and covers a broad range of safety situations, including daily life, industry, traffic, disasters, and camping. Here, you can learn how to handle various emergencies in environments that closely simulate real-life situations.

📌 Experience Duration: 60 minutes

📌 Main Experiences:

✔ Daily Safety•Industrial Safety – Learn how to handle accidents in simulated environments

✔ Traffic Safety – Prevent accidents in daily transportation like walking, biking, subways, and buses

✔ Disaster Safety – Improve your response skills for earthquakes, fires, and other emergencies

✔ Camping Safety – Learn how to deal with accidents that might occur during outdoor activities

First-Aid Experience Hall

In this hall, you’ll learn life-saving first aid techniques to help others in emergencies.

4D Movie Theater

Step into a world of simulated disaster scenarios with this immersive experience. The 4D movie theater offers lifelike experiences of critical situations, making you feel as if you’re truly in the midst of a disaster.



📌 Age Range: 8 years old and up

Operating Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

(Closed on Mondays, January 1st, and during Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays)

Reservation: https://ggsec.gg.go.kr/index (Reservations available only in Korean) 

- Important: All experiences are by reservation only

- Reservations: Available from the 25th of each month for the next 3 months

- Attire: Comfortable sneakers and activewear required!
