Meal kit business is getting more and more popular as it's convenient, and reduces food waste too. Here are some options from South Korea!

On February 4, Fresheasy signed an MOU with Gluup, a startup distributor, for the export of 11 HMR products, including select meal kits of certified “long-lasting small businesses,” to three Korean supermarket operations in the Oceania region. It will also begin exporting HMR products to H Mart, a supermart chain in America, starting February 18.
The items to be exported are 11 HMR products, including a spicy stir-fried octopus meal kit and an octopus hot pot meal kit based on dishes served by Ihwa Raw Fish Restaurant – a representative restaurant with a history of 30 years that is located in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province – which was selected by the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups.

Meal kits are not just convenient but also healthy and eco-friendly |
Last October, Fresheasy entered into a cooperative MOU with three long-lasting small businesses in Gyeonggi Province (Jidonggwan in Uijeongbu City, Jangheung Hoegwan in Icheon City, and Ihwa Raw Fish Restaurant in Hwanseong City) that was facilitated by the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups. It has since acquired experience and know-how in making dishes from those restaurants and developed meal kits by planning tailor-made concepts.
In addition, the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups will accelerate the digitization of long-lasting small businesses by selecting nine additional businesses in the Korean capital region as meal kit project targets and releasing meals based on the dishes of more than 40 of those businesses throughout the nation as meal kits within the first half of this year.
