On October 18, the 8th Gyeonggi Province Residents’ Day: <Together Green Festival> was successfully held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex Plaza in Suwon City, bringing together about 7,000 residents.
Under the theme ‘Drawing a (Green) Sustainable Gyeonggi Together with Residents,’ the event featured a wide range of cultural programs through which residents and the provincial government could communicate, share, and celebrate together.
Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from this special day!

The festival kicked off with the G-Runway.
Fashion outfits made from recycled materials filled the runway, spreading a powerful message that even discarded things can gain new value.
What made this show more meaningful was that Gyeonggi residents themselves took part as models, wearing clothing made from upcycled fabrics.
Among the pieces, one item stood out: the upcycled firefighter jacket.
Made by repurposing the protective suits once worn by firefighters, the jacket carried the message ‘Save Life, Save Earth,’ symbolizing climate action and sustainability.
This transformation from a firefighter’s uniform that protected lives to a new garment representing environmental protection sent a strong message encouraging residents to join in building a sustainable future.
Next came the ‘Together Green Gyeonggi’ segment, where the Governor of Gyeonggi Province and residents sat down face-to-face for an interactive session, exchanging ideas through quizzes and discussions on provincial policies, the environment, and welfare.
During the event, popular YouTuber Tzuyang and the music group Beatpella House were appointed as Gyeonggi Province’s new honorary ambassadors.
Later, at Gwanggyo Lake Park, performances by Ben, Crying Nut, and Beatpella House wrapped up the festival on a high note.
The Together Green Festival was more than just a celebration—it embodied Gyeonggi Province’s strong commitment to creating a sustainable future hand in hand with its residents.
Looking ahead, Gyeonggi Province will continue to grow together with its people, striving to become an even more livable and sustainable region.
For a greener tomorrow that we draw together, Gyeonggi Province will keep moving forward! 🌱
