Located in Namyangju City, Wooseokheon Natural History Museum is a fascinating place filled with fossils, minerals, and life-sized dinosaur models!
This museum is packed with exhibits and hands-on programs that are fun for both kids and adults, making it a perfect destination for a day trip or an educational outing.
Floor Guide
1st Floor: Museum shop, experience room
2nd Floor: Permanent exhibition hall, special exhibition room, Secret Garden
3rd Floor: Jurassic Park, education room, activity room
4th Floor: Rest area
On the first floor, you’ll find various hands-on natural history programs such as:
Fossil excavation, Mineral observation, and Dinosaur crafting.
These activities are designed to be interactive and educational, allowing participants to touch, see, and learn in a fun way!

The second floor is where the museum’s main exhibitions begin.

- The permanent exhibition showcases fossils, minerals, meteorites, and prehistoric life, offering a sweeping view of Earth's geological history.
- Each section is color-coded by era, making it easy to follow the timeline. Take your time reading the detailed explanations!
The slightly dimmed lighting in the exhibit hall is designed to help you focus on the displays. It may feel unfamiliar at first, especially for kids, but it creates a more immersive experience.
Step into Jurassic Park on the third floor, where you’ll find over 20 life-sized dinosaur models that you can see up close and even touch!
There's also a media art installation that recreates Earth's prehistoric environment, making you feel like you've time-traveled.
