Paju City developed a 200,000 square meter area in Gisan-ri, Gwangtan-myeon into Majang Lake Park, reimagining it as an urban theme park. This transformation has turned Majang Lake into a popular destination not only for Paju residents but also for those from nearby Yangju.
The Charm of the Majang Lake Suspension Bridge
The suspension bridge at Majang Lake is 220 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, designed to withstand strong winds and earthquakes. Crossing the bridge offers stunning views of the lake. Visiting during sunset provides a particularly unforgettable experience, with the sun casting beautiful reflections on the water.
