Nestled in Beopwon-eup of Paju City, Gyeonggi Province, the Dol-Dari Cultural Village is formed by the harmonious union of four quaint villages: Gaya-ri 4, Daeneung-ri 4, Daeneung-ri 5, and Beopwon-ri 6. Together, they create a stunningly beautiful space.

This village not only preserves the old-world charm of Korea but also offers well-maintained, peaceful streets ideal for exploring. Every corner promises a delightful discovery, making it a perfect spot for leisurely walks.

The Story of the Village's Alleys
After the relocation of U.S. forces, Beopwon-eup experienced a significant population decrease and economic downturn.
To counter this, residents united to paint murals on the old alley walls, revitalizing the village and bringing back its vibrancy.

With the help of local residents, military personnel, and students donating their talents, the project continued from 2013 to 2016, transforming Daeneung-ri into a beautiful mural village!

Following this, four villages in Beopwon-eup were combined to create 'Dol-Dari Cultural Village', and each was given a unique theme to develop tourism products.

Now, a sunflower field spanning over 4,000 square meters has become a symbol of the village, and the biannual Sunflower Festival is celebrated with great success 🌻.

Each village boasts its own unique theme, providing visitors with a variety of experiences!
From Gaya-ri 4, located furthest west in Beopwon-eup, to Beopwon-ri 6, you can continuously discover something new.

Among them, Daeneung-ri 4 is known for its 1,200-meter stretch of alley murals.
Cleverly incorporating cracks and holes in the walls, you can find fun and inventive murals throughout!

From cozy cafes offering warm coffee and freshly baked bread to workshops where you can engage in creative activities and cultural programs, there's plenty to enjoy. It's the perfect place to explore every nook and cranny!
