❤ What is the ‘EG Tour Bus’? ❤
The EG Tour Bus, which stands for “Explore Gyeonggi-do Enjoy G-Shuttle” and “Easy Gyeonggi-Shuttle,” has been designed as a tour-linked transportation option for individual foreign tourists visiting Gyeonggi Province!
Starting from Seoul, the bus travels to major tourist attractions in various areas of Gyeonggi Province. It began operating in 2017 to attract foreign tourists to the province.
In 2024, the EG Tour Bus operates on seven routes:
Paju Route: DMZ experience theme including Imjingak, Paju DMZ Gondola, Camp Greaves, and the Odusan Unification Observatory (Tuesdays)
Suwon-Yongin Route: Hallyu, traditional culture, and food theme including Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Korean Folk Village, and Suwon Nammun Rodeo Market (Wednesdays and Saturdays)
Pocheon Route: Nighttime and experiential theme including Pocheon Art Valley and Herb Island (Thursdays and Sundays)
Bucheon-Gimpo (Paju) Route: DMZ, traditional culture, and food theme including Gimpo’s Aegibong Peak, Bucheon Hanok Village, Korea Manhwa Museum, and Bucheon ‘Jayu’ Market (Fridays to Sundays)
Icheon-Yongin Route: Nighttime and food theme including Icheon Ceramic Village and Korean Folk Village (Fridays to Sundays)
Yangpyeong Route: Food and experiential theme including Yangpyeong Dumulmeori, Yangsuri Traditional Market, and Soomy Land (Thursdays)
Gapyeong Route: Healing theme including The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France, and Italy Village (Thursdays)
All routes are operated as one-day tours departing from and returning to locations like Hongdae in Seoul. Ticket prices range from KRW 55,000 to KRW 120,000 for adults.
