Pocheon City’s Sanjeonghosu Lake Sledding Festival (포천 산정호수 썰매축제)

This year marks the 99th Sanjeonghosu Lake Sledding Festival, an event planned and operated by local residents. It offers a variety of unique experiences on the frozen lake, including ice sledding, duck sledding, penguin sledding, Pooh sledding, and Santa sledding. 😊

📍 Location: Sanjeonghosu Lake Area
(108 Sanjeonghosu-ro 411beon-gil, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do)
✅ Festival Period: December 30, 2023, to February 12, 2024
✅ Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (until 5:30 PM on weekends and public holidays)
✅ Price: Sled rental rates vary from KRW 6,000 to KRW 20,000

Here are the rental prices for Pocheon’s Sanjeonghosu Lake sledding:

Tricycle + Duck Sledding for 2 for 20 minutes: KRW 15,000 (semi-automatic)
Tricycle + Pooh Sledding for 2 for 30 minutes: KRW 12,000
Tricycle + Penguin Sledding for 2 for 30 minutes: KRW 12,000
Ice Sledding for 30 minutes: KRW 6,000
Tricycle for 30 minutes: KRW 7,000

At first, 20-30 minutes of sledding might seem short, but you'll find it surprisingly tiring as you maneuver over the ice. The 30-minute duration even offers the added benefit of a fun workout.
