🎉Gyeonggi Province to Establish Korea's First Clean Green Hydrogen Production Facility🎉
Gyeonggi Province has attracted an investment of KRW 650 billion from the American company Air Products!
Air Products, a global leader in industrial gas production, has decided to establish a clean green hydrogen production facility in the Poseung (BIX) District of Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province.

Air Products Investment Agreement.
On December 20, 2023, an investment agreement was signed at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex by Wilbur W. Mok, Air Products' Asia President, and Jeong Jang-sun, the Mayor of Pyeongtaek. Wilbur Mok mentioned the dedication of Gyeonggi Province and Pyeongtaek City in building a hydrogen economy ecosystem and expressed a desire to create more success stories through continued cooperation.
Air Products' will invest a total of USD 500 million (about KRW 650 billion) to establish a clean green hydrogen production facility. This follows the KRW 500 billion investment secured by a Gyeonggi delegation during their U.S. visit in last April for a semiconductor industrial gas production facility.
The facility, spanning 55,156㎡ (about 16,680 pyeong) in the Pyeongtaek BIX area, will produce clean green hydrogen to supply nearby semiconductor anchor companies.
Through this first introduction of clean green hydrogen production to Korea, we can expect the following benefits!
