○ On November 20, Gyeonggi Province Governor Dong Yeon Kim met with members of the Liaoning Province Economic and Trade Delegation, including Kim Heon, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, to explore collaboration opportunities

In response to Governor Dong Yeon Kim’s visit to China on October 31, business representatives from the Liaoning Province Economic and Trade Delegation visited Gyeonggi Province.
They emphasized the development of China-Korea relations and regional government-level exchanges to explore collaboration opportunities.
Governor Kim met with the head of an economic and trade exchange group consisting of 28 companies in Liaoning Province, China, and exchanged views on ways to promote business cooperation between Gyeonggi Province and Liaoning Province.
Approximately 20 days after Governor Kim visited Liaoning Province on October 31 and expressed his intention to strengthen cooperation, Liaoning companies visited Gyeonggi Province to identify opportunities for cooperation with local companies.
"We look forward to more cooperation in all aspects of investment, culture, tourism and people-to-people exchanges, including economic cooperation between many companies in Liaoning Province and Gyeonggi Province," said Governor Kim, who discussed cooperation with representatives of the Liaoning Province Economic and Trade Exchange Group, including Kim Heon (金憲), a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex on November 20.
"The last visit to China was very meaningful. I had a good experience in strengthening cooperation between Liaoning Province and Gyeonggi Province by meeting with Liaoning Province Party Secretary Hao Peng and Li Lecheng. I also talked with Vice Premier He Lifeng, head of China’s Central Financial Commission and Central Financial Work Commission, in Beijing, about the importance of central and regional exchanges," he said. "I invited Secretary Hao Peng to visit Gyeonggi Province next year, and I look forward to welcoming him."
In response, Kim Heon said, "To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the sisterhood relationship between Liaoning Province and Gyeonggi Province, we visited Gyeonggi Province with 30 excellent entrepreneurs from Liaoning Province. Many entrepreneurs wanted to come, but only those who were willing to invest in Korean companies were selected,” he said. "We hope that dynamic activities such as trade investment between China and Korea will take place through exchanges with business representatives in Gyeonggi Province. I want to contribute to further strengthening the friendly relations between Liaoning Province and Gyeonggi Province."

The seminar covered the following topics: trade cooperation in the pandemic era; introduction of Liaoning Province enterprises; entry into B2B engagements using e-commerce platforms; consumer preferences in cultural contents.
