Even by just looking at the photos, you can sense the serene and artistic ambiance that permeates this place. But where exactly is it located?

The Mimesis Art Museum is a cafe and exhibition space situated in Paju Book City, an area known for its unique and beautiful curved building façades that capture your attention at first sight. Renowned architects from Korea and overseas have visited this place, which is often referred to as an architectural mecca.

The museum, designed by the famous Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, stands on a 1400-square-meter site and features graceful white curves. The building embraces the theme of white, with curved surfaces and natural light creating a luminary spectacle. The garden with its grass and flowers adds to the charm.

You might also recognize it as the filming location for Baekhyun's UN Village music video. 🙌

Completed in 2013, Paju City’s Mimesis Art Museum comprises three above-ground floors and one underground floor. Visitors can pay an admission fee to enjoy exhibitions or simply use the café.

Situated in Paju Book City, the Mimesis Art Museum Café has the ambiance of a bookstore café with numerous books displayed on shelves. The tables are spacious, making it suitable for group visits and family outings.
