To beat the summer heat, let's all go on a refreshing trip to Daebudo Island! 🌊
Daebudo is the second largest island in the Yellow Sea after Ganghwa Island. Although it is an island, Daebudo is well connected with transportation facilities, so there is little difference between the island and the mainland. Situated just off the coast of Gyeonggi Province, it is easily accessible in about an hour by car from Seoul without taking a ferry.
The coast is lined with cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks while admiring the vast sea. You can also enjoy exciting activities such as ATV experiences in the surrounding fields 😆.
There are plenty of stylish sculptures and picturesque landscapes! How about going on a sea trip to Daebudo Island this weekend? 🌟
📌 Daebudo Bangameori Beach
(Free parking, separate restrooms for men and women, shower facilities)
Bangameori Beach is a popular summer destination on the West Coast that people of all ages visit to enjoy the expansive sandy beach and explore tidal flats when the tide is out.
If you walk along the roads around the beach, you will find a town full of local delicacies. There are raw fish, grilled shellfish, kalguksu (Korean knife-cut noodles) and chicken restaurants, as well as bakeries and even a comprehensive fish market. Take note of these options when planning your trip!
📌 Daebu Bada Hyanggi Theme Park
(1480-7 Daebu Golden Road, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi)
Located right next to Bangameori Beach, the Daebu Bada Hyanggi Theme Park is approximately 4.3 times the size of Yeouido Park and has been well developed as a tourist and relaxation space through the cultivation of reeds and flowers.
In front of the park entrance are companies that offer various means of rental transportation that can be used even without a driver's license. We recommend that those who want to comfortably explore the park make use of these services.
While journeying along the unpaved nature trail and experiencing off-road adventures, you can also visit the famous Metasequoia Road, a well-known photo spot. Take your time, enjoy the park at a leisurely pace, and admire the beautiful blooming flowers along the way!
