Among all the local autonomies in Korea, Gyeonggi Province has the largest number of foreigners residents. Accordingly, Gyeonggi Province is working hard to support foreigners in many ways. This article will introduce three support centers where foreigners can get immediate help when they have difficulties.
1. Gyeonggi Institute of Research and Policy Development for Migrants’ Human Rights
If you have difficulties due to legal/labor disputes, racism, etc., please consult with the Gyeonggi Institute of Research and Policy Development for Migrants’ Human Rights. It provides services such as legal, labor, and human rights counseling to foreign residents.
Key Activities:
- Conducts research on human rights counseling for foreigners, anti-discrimination, and measures to ensure rights
- Provides domestic/foreign human rights education to prevent related violations and promote human rights culture
- Identifies measures to improve the human rights of foreigners

2. Gyeonggi Migrant Community Service
If you need Korean language education or health support, please visit the closest Gyeonggi Migrant Community Service Center.
In order to improve foreign resident welfare, Gyeonggi Province is working with public and private sector stakeholders to operate individual foreign support centers in 11 cities of the province so as to provide various services such as counseling, education, medical and cultural programs.

If you have difficulties with corporate management and/or investment in Korea, you can get help from the Gyeonggi-do Support Center for Foreign-Invested Companies.
The Gyeonggi-do Support Center for Foreign-Invested Companies (GSFIC) is a non-profit private institution supported by Gyeonggi Province to help the 3,900 foreign-invested companies operating in Gyeonggi Province resolve management difficulties, improve the investment environment, and attract investment.
Key Activities:

- Guidance on investment systems and procedures
