'Center of Change, Gyeonggi of Opportunities' is a familiar slogan now, right?
It is the official slogan of Gyeonggi Provincial Government for the 8th term of civil election, which contains Gyeonggi-do’s own provincial direction and brand value philosophy.

Beyond Gyeonggi-do through 'Political Reform' and 'Road to Transcend Politics and Ideology',
it intends to bring about the change in the whole of Korea.
The "center of change" contains a vision to lead a better future and change
through delicate and meticulous "life-friendly policies."
The "Gyeonggi of Opportunities" reflected the direction of providing more and more opportunities to the residents
and achieving innovative growth with the residents based on communication and cooperation.

The first brand forum, which contains the will of Gyeonggi Province, will be held at 1 p.m. on December 17
at the Convention Hall on the third floor of the Suwon Convention Center.

Suwon Convention Center is an organization dedicated to international conferences which was established to promote the mice project of Suwon.
It takes the role in charge of city marketing to promote the charm of Suwon and
the development of mice/tourism industry through revitalization of mice complex district in Suwon.

- Information on Forum Events
This forum will be held under the theme of 'Opportunities for Change Opened by Brands'.
Based on 'Center of change, Gyeonggi of opportunity', the provincial brand of the 8th term of civil election,
it will be divided into two sessions of part 1: 'change' and part 2: 'opportunity'.


- Part 1: Session of Change
In Part 1 session of change, Lee Jong-don, Gyeonggi-do Public Relations Planning Officer,
will give a 'Keynote speech on the provincial value of the 8th term of civil election and Gyeonggi-do brand vision'.

Next, Cho Seung-yeon, a YouTuber and humanities writer of "Cho Seung-yeon's Exploratory Life" with 1.48 million subscribers,
will give an expert lecture
on “Branding Plan for the Region where I Want to Live and Stay."

In addition, as a representative of the city and county of Gyeonggi-do, Gwangmyeong City will present best practices for urban branding
under the theme of “Shine with a New Urban Image.”
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will give a presentation on the excellent cases of province branding,
related to the Gyeonggi Dulle-gil that connects Gyeonggi Province and provincial citizens."


- Part 2: Session of Opportunity

Professor Yoo Hong-joon, a chair professor at Myongji University
who was the author of My Cultural Heritage Exploration and former head of the Cultural Heritage Administration
will give an expert lecture on the possibility of Gyeonggi-do and youth opportunity branding."

In addition, Jung Ji-hee, a young venture entrepreneur in Gyeonggi Province,
will give a lecture on Innovation Startup Branding, Opportunity and Future Vision in Gyeonggi Province,

and Song Yoon-joo, a social entrepreneur in Gyeonggi Province, will present
"Branding and Opportunity of Social Enterprises in Gyeonggi Province."


- Contest Award Ceremony

There will also be an award for the winner of the contest
under the theme of "Living as a Gyeonggi Citizen, Your and My Gyeonggi,"
which has been held for a month since October 25.

There are 12 award-winning works in the field of writing and painting.
Two outstanding winners will present their award-winning works as representatives of the provincial citizens at the Session of Opportunity.

In this forum, provincial citizens and city/county experts will participate in various side events to meet
and communicate with 31 city and county brands in Gyeonggi Province.
