Seoul Land, Korea’s first theme park, is where many parents bring their children for thrilling rides. The place is ideal for younger children, but many adults as well as couples flock here during the spring for the magnificent displays of flowers. All throughout the Seoul Land, you can find beds upon beds of flowers not only around the area, but together with the decorations of the theme park.
The flowers are planted to form patterns and color medleys that are gorgeous to look at and appreciate. Each area of Seoul Land has its own theme as well as matching decorations. From colors and types of rides to themes of cartoon characters, everything adds a little bit of flair to the beauty of the botanical gardens in the theme park. Spring flowers such as tulips and marigolds line the streets and pathways throughout the entire theme park, making walking through this huge park a pleasant experience.

Let’s Run Park Seoul, located in Gwacheon City, is known for its cherry blossom festival in April. Skip the huge crowds at Yeouido Park or Seokchon Lake, forgo the 4-hour journey to Jinhae, and head to Let’s Run Park Seoul for the beautiful cherry blossom festival. Rows and rows of cherry trees in full bloom, swaying in the wind and showering petals at your feet while you walk through the park, embody the very essence of blissfulness and peace.

The main attraction of the Let's Run Park Seoul is the night view as the entire park is illuminated with colorful lights. The festival runs from morning till night and the entire route cover approximately 1 kilometer. Along the way, there are booths featuring diverse events, special experiences and local delicacies.
This site was used during the 1988 Seoul Olympics as the Equestrian Park. After the Olympics, it was converted into a venue for horse racing. As this location houses barns and stables for horses, people can be seen riding these magnificent animals along the streets during the cherry blossom festival.

Everland

Everland is a theme park located in Yongin City, Gyeonggi-do, that rose to fame for its wooden roller coaster. Throughout the entire ride, you can feel the vibrations that you would not be able to experience on a metal structure. Moreover, it features one of the steepest drops in the world. Not only is Everland known for its thrilling rides, amazing decorations and unique themes, it is also home to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Korea.
Annually from mid-March to mid-April, Everland hosts a tulip festival. As many as 1.2 million flowers will glow in the sun and sway in the wind while they enter full bloom. Although the entire park is lined with flowers, there are certain spots that you have to visit in order to enjoy the full experience of these spring flowers.
The Flower Market Street and the Four Seasons Garden are situated along the parade route near the front gate of Everland. These spots offer amazing displays of colorful flowers, all planted in accordance with a theme. Take a stroll through the entire theme park and enjoy the beautiful sights as well as the pleasant weather. As the weather becomes warmer, Everland will extend its operating hours into the evening with various parades and shows. Lights are arranged so that romantic views of tulips are illuminated in the evenings.
